Speak out against worker exploitation at San Jacinto College!

We rely on our local schools and colleges to educate the next generation, and they have a responsibility to look out for our community. Unfortunately right now, San Jacinto College appears to be ignoring that responsibility.

San Jacinto College is currently contracted with Milam & Co painting on construction projects on campus. Workers have long expressed concerns over the working conditions at Milam, specifically over the lack of breaks and the poverty wages Milam pays. Milam was previously under investigation by the Federal Department of Labor for wage theft and other exploitative practices.

It’s time for San Jacinto College to recognize its responsibility to our community by building with integrity.

Will you contact San Jacinto College and Chancellor Brenda Hellyer TODAY and tell them to stop using Milam & Co. Painting until it addresses the issues workers have raised?

  • Call (855) 493–4407 to be connected directly with the Chancellor’s office to express your concerns.
